Zahra’s unexpected career choices facilitated her arrival to her current professional standing. Zahra is the Member of Board of Advisors and Co-founder of Toggle Market where she leads on commercial activities. Concurrently, she also acts as an advisor for startups across Healthcare and Hospitality.

Zahra launched her professional journey as a dentist in the United Kingdom, which was to become a springboard into the healthcare industry where she discovered her passion for operations and business within the industry. She took the plunge, left dentistry behind and entered the operations and procurement market.

Zahra further developed her operations experience in the hospitality sector in East Africa where she was involved in the development of internationally recognized branded hotel projects as a Director of Opulent Hotels, a position she still holds, and successfully modernised this reputable family business. Her time in East Africa provided her with an immersive experience and in-depth knowledge for strategically guiding complex businesses.
