Mr. Rahul Chaudhary is the Managing Director and CEO of CG Corp Global and CG Hospitality Holdings,a renowned Nepalese multinational conglomerate with an astonishing heritage of 140 years and 4 generations.
Having 123 brands, 160 companies and over 15,000 employees, under its umbrella, Chaudhary Group is Nepal's first and only billion Dollar Corporation listed by Forbes. The mammoth empire encompasses a diverse set of industry ranging from fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), hospitality to finance, banking and Telecom, amongst many others.
At present, Mr. Rahul Chaudhury is bequeathed to spearhead CG Hospitality, a subsidiary of CG Corp Global bringing which is redefining the hospitality industry with state-of-the-art properties uniquely blended with world-class hospitality services for its guests.
Belonging to a string of articulate institutions, Mr. Rahul did his schooling The Doon School and Millfield School in England. Following which he enrolled himself in the prestigious American college at The Miami University.
In the year 2003, he joined the International Investment & Private Banking Division ‘Citi-group’ at Wall Street, New York followed by a brief stint at Credit Suisse, London under the private banking and portfolio management division of the company.
Subsequently, in the year 2011, he acquired a Certification in Financial Management of Hotels through a professional development programme from “Cornell University” which gave him the appropriate skill set for his future venture at CG Hospitality.
Globally, CG Hospitality Holdings owns and operates 141 hotels and resorts with 8246 keys in 12 countries and 91 destinations. Focused on “Vision 2025”, its portfolio is expected to grow to over 200 hotels globally. Under the stern leadership of Mr Rahul, CG Hospitality has a built a proud legacy of successful joint ventures with esteemed partners, including Taj, Taj Safari, Vivanta, Jetwing, Fairmont and Radisson to name a few. It also owns world renowned wellness brand” The Farm at San Benito”.
The company’s operational competencies include hotels, resorts and spas across Asia, Middle East, America and Africa. CG Hospitality also owns the global management company, CG Hotels and Resorts, which manages and owns a range of mid-scale to luxury hotels through its own brands namely : “The Zinc” as well as “The Fern”, through JV Company’s Concept Hospitality.

For the third consecutive year, India's prestigious Hotelier magazine has listed Rahul as one of the 25 most powerful hoteliers. The list includes successful entrepreneurs operating and leading hotels across India and includes world famous hotel brands like Oberoi Hotels, Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, Marriott, Leela, Accor, Radisson, and Taj Hotels.
What is even more inspirational is that Rahul was the youngest to have been featured on the list.
In his personal time Mr Rahul likes to play sports and listen to music, along with playing an important philanthropic role with Chaudhary foundation to promote Nepal Social Business and various empowering activities. He is regularly assisting in education development by offering scholarships and quality School programmes for remote areas thus enhancing the overall skill development manifolds.
