In her role, Thuy is responsible for creating and driving innovative branding, communications, marketing and sales strategies to increase awareness, capture market share and build profitable growth for the group. She has over 20 years’ marketing, sales and general management experience leading global teams in consumer, luxury and hospitality brands.
Prior to joining Rosewood Hotel Group, Thuy held chief global marketing leadership roles and was a member of the executive boards of two luxury goods and fashion subsidiaries of the Richemont Group, Chloé and Lancel where she led all advertising, PR, events, digital, social media, publishing CRM, architecture and visual merchandising teams to define and implement results-driven global brand strategy.
Thuy started her career in the finance industry with Wall Street. After stints with Disney and Elizabeth Arden, she subsequently spent nearly a decade with LVMH, Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, commencing in corporate strategic planning and e-commerce before taking on several senior management positions, including U.S. President of Céline, U.S. President of Thomas Pink and General Manager Hawaii of Louis Vuitton, where she spearheaded the development of profitable retail networks and creative brand awareness campaigns.
Thuy received her Bachelor of Arts in economics from Barnard College, Columbia University. She subsequently earned her M.Phil. in development economics from Cambridge University and her MBA from Harvard University.
