Neal Jones is Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Marriott International. Neal is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Consumer Operations function, which includes Brand Management, Marketing, Digital, Sales, Reservations, Revenue Management, Loyalty, Communications and Consumer Insights.
As a Marriott International veteran of 25 years, Neal’s career consisted of various Senior Sales and Marketing roles within the company before his 2013 appointment as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Middle East & Africa. In January 2020, Neal’s role was expanded to oversee the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Neal is responsible for driving demand into Marriott International’s diverse portfolio of brands, expanding the reach of the Marriott Bonvoy travel programme, and developing innovative strategies to further enhance the customer experience across the full EMEA region.
Marriott International operates or franchises over 850 hotels across 76 countries and territories in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The company has 24 brands in the region including The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, W Hotels, Autograph Collection, Marriott, Sheraton and Moxy. Marriott has a pipeline of 350 hotels in EMEA with openings planned in Oman, Tanzania, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
Neal graduated from the Hotel School The Hague, located in The Netherlands and is currently based between Marriott International’s Dubai and London regional offices. A lover of all things aviation, Jones holds a private pilot licence and enjoys spending time in the skies when not at work.
