Debt Advisory (Rothschild) part of the debt advisory/restructuring team for the GCC region.
Corporate Finance (RBS) I was looking after most of the Blue Chip Clients the bank had in Southern Europe - Spain, Portugal and Italy – providing them DCM advice.
Structured Finance (Barcap) I was part of the Infrastructure and Project Finance team with worldwide coverage.
Skills developed: Negotiation of financing and commercial documents (term sheet, facilities agreement, etc.), management of the credit approval process, modeling, due diligence, debt capacity analysis, preparation of marketing materials (target presentations, information memorandum, etc.), Client relationship and driving the execution/offering process (LBO, DCM, ECM, Exit Strategies, Exec CoCom). Close interaction with other sectors of the Bank (Portfolio, Credit, Treasury, etc) and other internal departments.
